Solis (SolisCloud API) setup

Read Solis (SolisCloud ) data using the provider access configured for this connector. Confirm account permissions, installation scope and the requested measurements before activation.

A reliable API connection combines the correct authorization method, an explicitly limited installation scope and a verified first retrieval.

Before you start

Request API activation from Solis. After activation, the current SolisCloud guide directs owners/installers to Service → API Management to retrieve KeyID and KeySecret. Supply those as API key ID and secret; do not substitute OAuth client credentials. SolisCloud activation guide.

What to provide

Provide your company and contact person, the intended Insights account, the source identifiers and explicit permission for the requested scope. Include a recent source example for verification.

Set up the connection

1. Ask the provider or account owner to enable the data access required by this connector. Confirm the permitted sites/devices and requested API version.
2. Supply the exact credential types in the table through the agreed secure channel. A portal password, API token, application secret and OAuth grant are not interchangeable.
3. Choose this connector and the target Insights account in onboarding. Enter the required fields and the authorised installation scope, then review before creating.
4. Check the first retrieval against the source account. If access succeeds but no data appears, verify site permissions, API entitlements, identifiers and the availability of measurements.

Check the result

Check that the first collection completed, then open the intended Insights account and verify the relevant measurements or metadata. Compare source IDs, timestamps and units with the original source. Check the next scheduled execution as well. An active schedule or a healthy job alone does not prove that every requested measurement was received.

For ordinary onboarding meters, creation requests an immediate first run and keeps recurring collection active. Source publication times, upload intervals and provider limits still apply; immediate collection cannot manufacture missing source data.

If setup does not work

Provide Eniris with the connection name, account/site scope, time of the attempt and the exact error. Check source availability and access permissions before retrying. Share a source screenshot or sample without passwords or tokens.
