Manage Insights group memberships, site access and local notification preferences from Unify.
Open Users → Groups and access to manage the same group memberships used by Insights. You can add people to a group or remove their membership directly in Unify. Changes affect their Eniris access, including Insights; they are not a separate copy of the user list.
Each row represents an existing group or role and lists its members by email address. A person can belong to several groups. Their sites and permissions come from those group memberships. Removing one membership does not remove the person's memberships of other groups or delete their Eniris sign-in.
Names such as Admins, Installers and Users follow the existing Insights naming. Groups without one of those suffixes are displayed with Super admins, as in Insights. A name is a label: the permissions configured in Eniris determine the actual access. Unify shows only groups you are allowed to manage in the selected account and its linked views. You can have management rights for a group without owning the entire account.
Technical controller and system groups are hidden from the default list. Enable Show technical groups when you need to manage one of those groups. This changes what is displayed; it does not grant additional permissions.
Inspect the group membership before adding or removing access. All addresses shown are demonstration addresses. Fictional demonstration data.
An existing membership is kept without being duplicated. Eniris may send a new member an invitation email. If some additions fail, the result identifies the confirmed additions, the unconfirmed address and any addresses that were not attempted. Only the remaining addresses stay in the form. Refresh when needed before retrying; a lost response can mean the server applied a change even though the page could not confirm it.
Adding someone to a group does not automatically subscribe them to alarm or report emails. Configure notification recipients separately.
Select the × beside a person's email in the relevant group and confirm the removal. Access provided by that group is removed in Eniris, including Insights. Other group memberships stay in place. If the person still has access to a site, search for their email and review their other memberships.
To change someone's role or site scope, add them to the intended existing group, check the addition, and then remove the membership they no longer need. For site grouping itself, see Accounts and site groups.
Removing your own membership may remove your access to the account or to user management. After confirming, a ten-second countdown gives you an Undo option. Closing the dialog during that countdown also cancels the removal. Once the request has been sent, a different authorized administrator may be needed to restore access.
Local profiles and notifications is a separate view for account administrators. It stores contact details, notification preferences and additional portal restrictions. A local profile does not grant group membership or wider Eniris access. No additional restriction means the local profile does not narrow the person's existing Eniris access; it does not mean the person has access to every site.
Use Groups and access for actual memberships. Use local profiles for preferences and any extra portal restrictions. CSV import applies to the local profile workflow. For automatic alarm delivery, also inspect the alarm workspace's email recipients.
Unify checks management rights again before each change. If somebody changes the group while you are editing, refresh the list before continuing. Switching accounts while an operation is in progress also prevents a pending change from being applied to the wrong account.
A loading error is not an empty membership list. Use Retry. If there are no manageable groups, check the selected account, the search and technical-group filter, and your management rights. Locally disabled profiles or profiles restricted to selected sites cannot administer group memberships.
