Interpret cycling, efficiency, state of health and warranty thresholds.
Use a battery profile under Performance models in site operations to investigate battery use over a selected period.
Select the device and enter capacity, rated power, state-of-charge limits and tolerances. Add available commissioning dates, baseline cycles or throughput, and warranty curves. Link temperature when available. Save before calculating.
- Energy: charging and discharging energy are integrated from valid power intervals.
- Cycles: rainflow counting uses state-of-charge turning points; open excursions count as half cycles. Gaps interrupt a continuous cycle run.
- Round-trip efficiency: comparable closed charge/discharge cycles are evaluated with the configured state-of-charge tolerance. An arbitrary period's discharge-to-charge ratio is not automatically round-trip efficiency.
- State of health: available SoH observations support degradation tracking. Warranty comparisons use thresholds entered in the profile; they do not create a manufacturer's guarantee.
- Availability: the configured dispatch or readiness basis determines required signals. Unknown intervals remain distinct from unavailable intervals.
Review coverage and exclusions before comparing periods. Missing SoH, baseline history or warranty data can prevent a meaningful degradation or warranty conclusion.
