Understand state of charge, battery power, timestamps and energy totals.
Select a battery or hybrid inverter in the installation tree. When the required measurements are available, the battery panel shows state of charge, power, capacity and device status. Additional readings depend on what the device reports.
Read the power direction, state of charge and measurement time together. Period totals answer a different question from the latest reading. Fictional demonstration data.
The top battery values are the latest available readings, independent of the period selected for historical charts. Each value keeps its measurement time. Choosing last month therefore does not turn the current state of charge into a historical month-end value.
Charging and discharging energy shown for a selected period are historical totals for that period. Read their dates separately from the live snapshot.
| Value | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| State of charge (SoC) | Reported charge level, expressed as a percentage |
| Battery power | Positive means charging; negative means discharging |
| Battery power setpoint | The requested power, with the same sign convention as battery power |
| Hybrid AC power | Positive means local consumption; negative means local generation |
| Stored energy estimate | SoC multiplied by nominal battery capacity, when both are known |
For example, a 100 kWh nominal battery at 60% SoC has an estimated 60 kWh stored. This is not a guaranteed amount deliverable at the AC connection: operating limits and conversion losses matter.
Partial refresh failures keep earlier values with their original timestamps. Missing data stays empty rather than becoming zero. Charging and discharging totals alone do not establish a validated round-trip efficiency or battery degradation figure.
