Prepare PV inputs and validate production, irradiation, PR and availability in a report.
The PV performance template brings production, expectation, irradiation and performance indicators together for a selected site and period. Good formatting cannot compensate for incomplete configuration, so first validate the inputs.
| Check | Reason |
|---|---|
| Correct site and production source | Avoid reporting another device or double-counting parent and child measurements |
| Installed PV DC capacity | Required for normalized yield and PR |
| Applicable PV/panel configuration | Needed for the available irradiation and expected-production calculations |
| Complete reporting dates and time zone | Keeps tables and charts on the same interval |
| Reliable energy and power readings | Prevents spikes or counter errors from being treated as valid production |
Open Properties on the relevant equipment to fill in supported configuration from installation records. Do not guess panel orientation or capacity merely to remove a warning.
Choose A selection and select the site for an individual PV report, then continue to the period and layout. Fictional demonstration data.
Compare a few days with the site's dashboard using the same period and source. A cumulative curve and a daily-production bar describe different aggregations. A missing PR is not zero PR; inspect the missing-input or data-quality message.
If the production counter has large historical jumps or disagrees with measured power, investigate those readings. Adjusting kWp changes normalized figures but does not correct the energy series. Period coverage and exclusions can also explain differences between reports from different systems.
The measured PR is measured production divided by ideal production at the measured plane-of-array irradiation. It does not require a configured PR target. A missing PR target affects expected production and goal comparisons, not the measured PR itself.
Create or duplicate a report with the new site selected, then check its own configuration and dates. A complete PV setup on one site does not automatically validate every other site in the account.
