Set up your AI connection, use your own account permissions, investigate measurements and edit dashboards, reports and KPI formulas.
Connect your AI assistant to the sites, measurements and configurations you already use in Unify. Ask it to investigate production, explain a battery reading, update a chart or prepare a report. With editing enabled, supported changes are saved in Unify and become visible in the portal.
MCP means Model Context Protocol. It gives the assistant a defined set of tools to work with Unify. You describe your task; the assistant calls those tools using your personal access. It does not need your password in the conversation.
Copy this MCP server URL into your AI client's connection dialog:
https://unify.eniris.com/bff/mcp
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Authentication | OAuth: sign in with your own Eniris Insights account |
| Default access | Read only, within the account shown when you authorize |
| Connection management | MCP in Unify's left menu |
| Optional editing | Enable Also allow editing during authorization; your existing editing permissions still apply |
Open MCP in Unify. Copy the server URL, not the address of the management page. The external API's OpenAPI URL is also a different interface.

The account in the answer should match the account you authorized. Account scope and permissions explains changing accounts, expiry and revocation.
| Task | Available through MCP |
|---|---|
| Explore a portfolio | Find authorized sites, inspect equipment trees, read site details and meter identifiers |
| Investigate performance | Read production, PR, inverter information and historical measurements for a defined period |
| Understand storage and control | Read battery data, controller strategies, decisions, messages and limiting factors where supplied |
| Follow up operations | Read available alarms, actions, maintenance information, contracts and annotations; add a site note |
| Adapt dashboards | Read site dashboards and account dashboards; add, change or remove a site chart; save an account asset dashboard |
| Work with reports | Read and edit report definitions, charts and sections; create reports; preview supported measurement/PV reports and generate PDFs |
| Configure calculations | Read KPI formulas and supported inputs, preview proposed formulas on site data and save permitted account-level changes |
| Maintain configuration | Save supported device properties, PV plans and analyses with your existing rights |
Available tools do not guarantee that every installation has every measurement. Missing irradiation, capacity, production or battery telemetry remains missing. Ask the assistant to report those gaps explicitly.
The connector does not administer users or security, send emails, issue physical equipment commands, execute arbitrary code or access arbitrary URLs. Alarm and action information can be read; the current tool set does not provide alarm-rule or action editing. Existing report delivery schedules are preserved when a report is edited.
A useful answer identifies the account, site, equipment, period, timezone, units and missing data. For comparisons, prefer a completed period such as last month. A low PR, missing measurement and offline device are different findings.
Before editing, ask the assistant to read the current configuration and describe the intended change. Afterwards, open the same account and item in Unify and check the saved result. Other users with access to that account can see shared changes; an AI conversation is not a private draft workspace.
For a developer building a separate application, see the Unify external API. For a distinct visual interface, see custom dashboards.
