WHES Single Phase Hybrid Inverter Protocol (RTU)The SmartgridOne Controller communicates with this device over Modbus RTU on RS485. This device has no Modbus TCP interface, so an Ethernet connection cannot be used.
Run the communication cable directly from the VPP 485 port of the device to an RS485 port on the SmartgridOne Controller.

The meter built into this inverter measures one phase only. On a single-phase grid connection it can serve as the grid meter.
⚠️ On a three-phase grid connection, install a separate three-phase grid meter. The built-in meter only sees its own phase and misses the power on the other two.
⚠️ Make sure the device Direct power control read-only mode is off. If it is on we can't send commands with the SmartgridOne.
